At Foundedin Limited (trading as Abby), hereafter referred to as Abby, your privacy is important to us. Customer is any user of the Abby software

We may change this policy by uploading the revised policy to our website. Any changes to this policy will take effect from the date the policy is uploaded and available on the website or as otherwise notified.

Direct Personal Information Collection

We directly collect information that is reasonably necessary for the proper performance of our service. This information will normally be collected when you seek to inquire about or purchase our products and services via our website, chat, email, phone, or via social media.

The information we collect directly includes email address, your name, and credit card details.

Indirect Personal Information Collection

When someone uses Abby, we collect information associated with Cliniko appointment IDs only. This includes the appointment ID itself and the text message responses submitted by the patient associated with that appointment ID. We do not collect any patient identification data like names, DOBs, or contact numbers. The SMS content is deleted within 7 days of receiving it.

Other information we collect indirectly includes IP address, type of device, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, language, device make and model, as well as the versions of the above-mentioned services. We also use cookies and collect information including pages visited, time spent on pages, language preferences, and other anonymous traffic data. We also collect details about your Abby subscription, payment dates, and renewal dates.

How we use the information we collect

The Personal information we collect is used by us to operate Abby and provide the Services.

The information we collect about our own Customers is for identification, billing, authentication, and contact purposes.

With permission, we may use email addresses to share news, general information, updates, and product offers. Customers who have provided permission to receive this information can unsubscribe at any time.

How information is disclosed

Unless ordered by a court of law or as described in the Policy, Abby will not share, sell, or rent Personal Information with anyone without your permission.

How we secure your information

All data stored by us is encrypted and stored in industry-leading, state-of-the-art Amazon Web Services (AWS) facilities. Access to data is restricted to only those who have a genuine need to access it.

To receive a copy of the information we store about you and ensure we lawfully possess the information we hold, you can email hi@Abby.co and request access.

Local access and privacy laws

Abby is a worldwide service, and we acknowledge that Personal Information about patients, and the obligations of medical practitioners relating to them, may be subject to access and privacy laws in the country of residence of those patients.
